In the Republic of Ireland, Italy, Greece, Lithuania, Latvia, Lebanon, Romania and Russia, the summer break is normally three months, compared to six to eight weeks in Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, Pakistan, India, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Germany.
