The modern era brought with the tradition of giving gifts to loved ones at Christmas and it became increasingly popular as the middle ages ended and the modern era went into full swing.
The folks over at FTD recently asked me a question, what is the best gift I’ve ever received? And that took a lot of thought and self-reflection. It was then I realized the best gift wasn’t receiving one, but giving one instead. Every time I give my friends and loved ones a gift — whether it’s during the holiday season or not — I am filled with the joy of knowing I could make that person happier knowing they were loved and thought of — for me, this is the best gift I could ever receive.
